Celebrations are happy moments

Had 2 short celebrations last weekend 2 days in a row. Been tired but happy to be able to spend sometime with loved ones.

Sat, 18 Mar 2007: Dad's birthday (according to chinese date)

I'm bad at choosing restaurants, so i gave my dad the green light to choose the restaurant he wants to dine at, he chose Jiang Nan Chun at the Four Seasons Hotel @ Orchard. This year we had Gabbie to join us.

The food was good and service great.

I was feeling very happy that Gabbie sat together with my family to have this short dinner. Was heartwarming.

Sun, 19 Mar 2007: Shalene's 1 month

I've become auntie once again. My cousin brother's wife gave birth during cny period and so fast 1 month had passed. He hold a mini celebration at Lion City Hotel.

look how much she have grown.

A sudden thought went thru my mind seeing new life coming into the world. Are we afraid of death?. Why do we cry when someone die? and why do we smile when a new life come?....isn't it just like a cycle?...the opening of a chapter and the ending of another chapter?

Nothing. Just pondering.
