loooOng Weekend

a long weekend indeed it was.....i had quite an adventure before the start of the weekend....let's begin w fridae i shall...i tot it was goin to be a slow dae for me....but it juz had to spoiled...my boss called me over to the office and hand me loads of amendments to do...and told me that i had to complete it by the end of the dae....WTH...super pissed off...to cut the story short....i was told that if i couldn't finish my work i gotta come back on sat...for goodness sake itz the start of a long weekend and i still gotta cm back on a sat...moreover i alreadi plans on sat and i mean the whole dae....had a mission to complete....haha...

Saturday
and so i told a 'big' lie in order to "escape" from goin back on sat...not gonna say wat lie i said coz i dun wanna bring harm to myself....sat was the dae im goin to make cheesecake....and i mean i MAKE cheesecake...ok dun laugh at me....doesn't mean that i dun cook i cant make a cake k....i din have the baking accessories so i gotta go to wendy's....my good pal was willing to wake up early in the morning to accompany me to cold storage to get all necessary stuff and went back to her dad's motor shop to start my mission "possible"....yes!!...there's a kitchen in the workshop....ahahah...it was so fun....i have never make a cake before....coz it was for gabbie's birthdae...that's y....hee hee....and i realised actually there's 2 kinds of cheesecake....one type is the baked cheesecake and other doesn't need to be baked....the one i made it the non-baked one...will post up the picture of the cake when im free-er yah....so after the mixing and pounding the whole mixture was finally done and poured it into the Heart-shaped stencil....and put it in the fridge to set....left for 2 and a half hours....and off we went to buy lunch for everyone....when we came back i juz sit ard den i make the chocolate fudge and do the wordings....my hands were shaking....never did wordings on cakes before....but was fun....after doin the wordings...gotta put back in the fridge to set again...so everything was done ard 3 plus in the afternoon....and good wendy did her last duty to send me home coz i was like a super auntie carrying so many bundles with me....

Sunday
the usual go to church routine...and was gonna meet gab for dinner with his parents to celebrate his bd....so after placing the cake "made-with-heart-and -soul" into a nice transparent container and head down to his place....hhaha...the surprise wasn't a surprise for long...coz he guessed wat i would do...but glad he like it...hee hee..his mum said was nice too...hmmm...that gave me a boost to wanna MAKE somemore...hahaha...
gab's dad and bro went for a movie so we gotta wait for the time to meet them at taka for dinner...we had COCA steamboat at taka...the steamboat was alrite...very family kinda dinner...hahah...den after that we went separate ways as gab and me was goin to watch Star Wars at lido...we were early...so we sat at the preview area...
Star Wars wasn't as great as i expected it to be...sadz....dun like wat have developed in the movie....sky walker has become darth rader....haiz...
Anw it was an enjoyable evening spent together.....we rarely could watch late movies together.....after the show i was tired so we headed hm....but we chatted for awhile before heading to bed...and i dun wanna be reminded wat stupid stuff i said that nite....hmph~!!!!.....
glad he likes the cheesecake...
